Main composition
AMI-SCB-1H, AMI-HTB-1H and AMI-NCG were nickel catalysts with Ni as the main active component and alumina as catalyst support. Pt catalyst consists of precious metal Pt as active component and alumina as catalyst support.
Application and process conditions
Cyclohexane is a common solvent, is the manufacture of nylon 6 and nylon 66 raw material, also used as a polymerization reaction diluent, extraction agent, etc. The methods of producing cyclohexane include benzene hydrogenation and separation and recovery.Hydrogenation of benzene to cyclohexane is an important catalytic hydrogenation process in petrochemical industry.The process is divided into liquid phase method and gas phase method, mainly liquid phase method. Benzene is difficult to hydrogenate, hydrogenation can be achieved only when hydrogen supplying groups are used.The catalyst grain is too small to form hydrogen donor groups, resulting in the reactive hydrogen and the required hydrogenation reaction is not suitable. So many common hydrogenation catalysts are not suitable for benzene hydrogenation process. Used as catalyst for hydrogenation of benzene to cyclohexane.
At present, there are mainly two kinds of catalysts for benzene hydrogenation in industry: non-precious metal nickel catalysts and precious metal Pt catalysts. Nickel catalyst is Ni/ γ-AL2O3 catalyst formed by loading Ni on γ-Al2O3.Because of the increased dispersion, therefore, has a higher activity. When the grain size is larger than 4nm, the activity increases with the decrease of grain size.When the grain size is 4nm, the activity is the best.When the grain size is less than 4mm, the grain size becomes smaller and the activity decreases. Under the reaction conditions of 130~200℃, atmospheric pressure -2MPa and liquid space velocity 0.2~1.0h-1, the conversion of benzene is greater than 99.5% and the yield of cyclohexane is 96%.The content of Pt in precious metal Pt catalyst is 0.05%~0.55%, the support is γ-Al2O3.It has high catalytic activity, long service life, can be used again after sulfur poisoning.
Brief production
AMI-NCG is prepared by co-precipitation, washing, drying, molding and roasting of nickel and aluminum-containing solution. Pt catalyst is prepared by impregnating uranium component with special alumina carrier, drying and roasting.
