New hydrogen compressor gas stepless regulation system

Electricity consumption is one of the main energy consumption of hydrogenation unit. According to the different type of device, electricity consumption accounts for 35%~70% of the total energy consumption of hydrogenation unit, the power consumption of new hydrogen compressor accounts for 40%~65% of the total power consumption. Therefore, the energy-saving scheme of the device is of great significance. In particular, for the large residual oil hydrogenation unit, the reaction pressure is high, and the boost of raw oil and hydrogen consumes a huge amount of power. In addition, in order to ensure the partial pressure of reactive hydrogen during operation, part of circulating hydrogen should be discharged to maintain the purity of circulating hydrogen,  excess new hydrogen should be added to maintain the reaction pressure. Therefore, the operating load of the new hydrogen compressor is jointly determined by the consumption of chemical reaction hydrogen and the discharge of circulating hydrogen. In the whole operation cycle of the device, with the gradual decrease of catalyst activity, C1~C4 light components generated by residual oil hydrogenation reaction increase,  the amount of hydrogen discharged to maintain the purity of circulating hydrogen increases accordingly. Therefore, the load of the new hydrogen compressor changes greatly in the whole operation cycle,  the actual operating flow rate of the new hydrogen compressor at the initial operation of the device is very different from the rated flow rate of the equipment.


The new hydrogen compressor uses a reciprocating compressor to control the actual amount of new hydrogen filling in the reaction system by the method of partial hydrogen reflux from the compressor outlet to the inlet. This control scheme will cause a waste of electric energy due to a large amount of hydrogen reflux. If the new hydrogen compressor is equipped with a stepless gas regulating system, the electricity consumption of the new hydrogen compressor can be greatly reduced, thus significantly reducing the energy consumption of the device.
