Propane dehydrogenation can obtain significantly higher propylene yieldunder the conditions of high temperature and relatively low pressure, 

the process path is short, and the investment cost of fixed assets is low.

After more than 20 years of development, the technology has become consummate. 

At present, there are eight main processes in the world.

Most of the catalysts are Pt or Cr-based metal catalysts, and the hydrogen produced by the reaction can be used as fuel, 

thereby improving the utilization rate of by-products as much as possible.

The eight processes are organized as follows: The most widely used of the eight processes are UOP's Oleflex and ABB Lummus' Catofin. 

Since my country's first PDH, 600,000 tons of Tianjin Bohua Chemical Co., Ltd. has been put into production, my country's PDH plants have basically adopted these two processes.
